Where to go fly fishing in London.

I am here to help and this is where  sharing knowledge and learning is fun.

If you live in and around London, want to learn about Fly Fishing In London, Fly Fishing in general, or improve your existing skills as a fly fisher – this is the place to be.

As I am only 15 minutes from the M25, I am conveniently located to serve a very wide area. I can also travel to your chosen place.

I am a qualified Game Angling Instructor, living on the borders of  North London/Hertfordshire/Essex.

I hold qualifications with GAIA as an APGAI (Single Handed) and GAIC (Double Handed) Instructor and with the IFFF as a Master Certified Casting Instructor. As an Instructor with the BFCC I also teach distance casting, for those that want to improve,  get involved in this growing competitive sport and boost your fly fishing confidence too.

I am also a Level 1 & Level 2 Coach (Game Angling) with the Angling Developing Board.

In the 46 years of my fishing life, I have been fortunate to have fished the smallest  of streams to the big oceans.

Cuban Barracuda

I am here to share the knowledge and skill of casting a fly, and advise on the required tactics and equipment  to catch  fish in  places like:

Alaska – Bering Sea – Florida Keys – Gulf of  Mexico Cuba – Trinidad & Tobago – Andros Island – Caribbean Sea – France –  Holland – Spain – Mediterranean Sea and   The Canaries.

I still love and fish, streams, rivers and the  large and small stillwaters all over the UK.

I have first hand  knowledge and extensive fly fishing experiences of these places, and the fish that live or migrate there,  so I can provide the right tuition for the species you want to catch.

From “Mousing” for the Leopard Rainbows, catching the mighty Pacific King Salmon in Alaska, chasing down Mahi Mahi in the Caribbean to presenting a dry fly on a small stillwater in and around  London.  This is the fascination and diversity of fly fishing, and they all bring their unique challenges which is where experience and technique play an enormous part in having a successful and enjoyable fishing trip.

Whether you want to book a lesson, or just have a chat on the telephone for a trip you are thinking of planning, I am here to help.

Beginners are most welcome as my way of  sharing knowledge is “keep it simple & make it fun”.
